Deleting your account
You can permanently disable your SafeLineCare account at any time from inside the SafeMail iOS app (Account menu → Delete Account) or from the dashboard on this website (Delete Account section). Account deletion is not available while you have an active paid subscription — please cancel your subscription via the billing portal first, then delete the account.
What happens immediately when you delete: your sign-in credential is removed, all OAuth sessions (including installed iOS apps) are revoked, and you lose access to the dashboard, SafeMail mailbox, MemoryBox, support calls, and any other SafeLineCare service. The Clerk identity that you use to sign in is deleted.
What we retain (and why): we keep the corresponding row in our database in a disabled state, marked with a deletion timestamp. We also retain associated audit logs (sign-in events, billing history, OAuth tokens issued, support tickets, and SafeMail message metadata) for the limited purposes of fraud prevention, billing reconciliation, security incident investigation, and compliance with applicable recordkeeping laws. We do not use this retained data to send you marketing or for any new purpose after deletion.
If you would like the retained data fully purged, contact us at support@safelinecare.com and we will respond to verified erasure requests as required by applicable privacy law.
